Meet The Pastor

Before answering the call to vocational ministry, Pastor Angela graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. As a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Indiana, she worked first in a long-term-care nursing facility, then with a non-profit family service agency. In Y2K, she left her social work career for the joy of professional motherhood.

Pastor Angela and her husband, Chad, married in 1996 and lived in Indiana, Texas, and Nebraska, before moving to Ohio in 2007. Chad’s work in the livestock feed industry with Provimi North America (formerly the Akey Co. of Lewisburg) has prompted the family’s multiple relocations, but they are excited to have begun putting down roots in the Brookville area.

The couple has two children. Son, Jared, is a farm boy at heart, who loves to dig in the dirt and build things. Daughter, Elisha, enjoys singing and dancing with her friends.

Pastor Angela completed her Master of Divinity degree at Asbury Theological Seminary in December, 2010.  She is a Provisional Elder in the West Ohio Conference of The United Methodist Church.
